I earned a Psy.D. in Psychology from New York University, and I am a licensed Psychologist in New Jersey (#3498). In addition, I earned Master’s degrees in Education and Special Education earlier in my career. My original focus was infant development and attachment. Earlier in my clinical work, I focused on children, adolescents, and families. Now, more than twenty-five years later, my clinical focus is on treatment with adults. My interest in the influence of early attachment relationships with caregivers has remained strong and informs my work with adults. I have also followed the advances in neuroscience, trauma, affect regulation, infant emotional development, and attachment theory. Recently, I have been integrating body-centered mindfulness with psychodynamic talk therapy.
