I earned a Psy.D. in Psychology from New York University, and I am a licensed Psychologist in New Jersey (#3498). In addition, I earned Master’s degrees in Education and Special Education earlier in my career. When I first began my private practice, I specialized in infant emotional development. Now, more than twenty years later, my therapeutic skills with children and adults have evolved, deepened and been enhanced by incorporating the influence of earlier relationship experiences with caregivers –as young as in infancy– on all developmental stages.
Earlier in my clinical training and work, I focused on evaluating and treating children (toddlers through adolescents), frequently in consultation with schools. My current emphasis is in providing intensive individual psychotherapy to all ages and in providing couples therapy. I have run parenting groups and worked with teen parents. I am also published in the child development and learning disabilities fields.
